FAQs

What does the Mound facility have to offer?

The Mound Facility is fully equipped to support baseball and softball athletes of all levels with a wide range of high-quality training amenities. We also have a sitting area for parents waiting for their child to finish their training session as well as a bathroom.

We offer three indoor cages — two are 55 feet long (rubber flooring with batters box and pitching mats), and one is 35 feet (all turf). The longer cages (2 and 3) feature baseball and softball pitching machines, ideal for hitting practice. Each of these cages is also equipped with a Pocket Radar to measure exit velocity and pitching speed.

For your hitting and throwing sessions, we provide high-quality baseballs and softballs, including both 11" and 12" softballs.

⚠️ Please do NOT bring outside balls — all necessary balls will be provided.

⚠️ Athletes under 16 must be accompanied and supervised by their adult. Adults get access with their child’s membership and are encourage to help in the cages, feed the pitching machine, roll grounders for fielding, etc.

Each cage includes essential training equipment such as:

  • 9-pocket pitching targets to improve throwing accuracy

  • L-screens for safe front toss sessions

  • Home plates, batter’s box mats, pitching mats, and tees

We also have a warm-up and workout area (turf), outfitted with:

  • Warm-up bands

  • Two sets of dumbbells (ranging from 5–25 lbs)

  • Medicine balls

  • Agility ladder

  • And more functional training tools

Whether you’re training for power, precision, or agility, The Mound Facility has the resources you need to elevate your game in a focused, well-equipped environment.

Will the membership come with your personal training as well?

No. Membership gives athletes a space to train for their personal use. Whether that is hitting, pitching, throwing, fielding, weight training, agility training, etc. We will be there to give pointers, drill ideas, and of course encouragement! We will be doing camps and cohorts that members get access to in order to gain skills, knowledge, and drills they can do on their own.
